Canal-side platform, harvest noise

Quiet, and the people are very pleasant. Enough space for two or three motorhomes.

Quiet spot beside a body of water. We spent one night here halfway between Paris and Annecy. We were alone and parked on the right, with a picnic table at the back. Peaceful place; we felt safe with our children. No services, but a bin is available.

We arrived around 6 p.m.; the neighbouring industrial facility was running at full capacity, and what a noise! However, after moving farther along the towpath, it was much quieter, although we were no longer on the stabilised platform. No services. Average for one night.

Pretty spot by the Canal de Bourgogne with multiple leveled parking spots. Some fishermen are around in the evening. The grain elevator was pretty noisy though, but we parked a bit away from it and it was OK.

beautiful spot, flat spaces, picnic tables and a bin. however during harvest time there is noise from the factory. we moved over to the other side of the canal to minimise this, could still hear it but stayed nonetheless and got used to it.

Nice spot for a peaceful night, no services. Very clean place, with a picnic table and bin available. The people we met were very friendly.

Very quiet, both during the day and at night. Only an occasional bicycle or people walking along the canal. Plenty of spaces available. The ducks kept us company. In the end, we spent three nights there. Before we left, a local approached us and, with immense kindness, offered us a bag of cherries from his garden. Thank you??
