Riverside site, difficult access

Great place to stop. We didn’t use services but the automatic camera was useful for paying without the owners being there. A very reasonable price. We speak very bad French so we used the number to WhatsApp messages via translation. Swimming in the river was a beautiful way to start the day.

Small, basic campsite. At 38°C during the day, we were able to cool off in the nearby Gardon River. A pitch costs €10 per night; toilets and showers are available. During the day, the site is used for parking by swimmers; from around 6:00 p.m. they gradually leave and the campers appear.✦Translating

The access is completely unsuitable for 2.3 m-wide motorhomes; vans are fine. The site is very shady and uninviting, is not on the riverbank, and in no way matches the pictures and description. It is also questionable whether one should ignore the no-motorhomes entry restriction. We drove on.
