71 Rue de l'Epargne, 7000, Mons
Been here?
This free car park is a convenient base for visiting Mons, about 15 minutes from the centre. It has no services and is under trees, with a mini market and lunch café next door. Recent use found plenty of spaces, while older comments mention both quiet nights and occasional road noise.

Convenient parking for visiting Mons. On Easter Monday there were many spaces available.
Good parking for visiting the city. We did not sleep there; we went a little farther on to the parking areas opposite the campus.
Parking here is currently prohibited, but as mentioned in another review, there are large spaces a little farther on.
We were there on Sunday. Quiet, with the centre a 15-minute walk away. Lovely walk through the old town to the sound of the carillon.
We were there on a Saturday evening. Quiet night, no problems.
Parking area 10 minutes' walk from the town centre. Quiet. No services, simply free.
If you are looking for shade, you will not find it here; they have cut down even more trees. Few spaces in the parking area, noisy. For shade, go 100 m farther; we were there from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Fairly quiet road with a gravel area between the 2 roads, was fairly quiet, obviously no utilities it’s just a big lay-by! Chris and Bronte
Very central and discreet parking under the trees between the university buildings. It was extremely quiet because of the school holidays on December 29, when we slept there.
Arrived on site at 10 p.m.; a small, quiet parking area for spending one night. Yes, a little noisy, but very bearable.
Very close to the centre. Good stop for visiting the city. We arrived at the weekend and had no problem spending the night.
