4 Calle Prolongación Hernando de Carabeo, 29780, Nerja
Been here?
This is a free parking area beside a sea-view walking path, close to Nerja’s centre and beaches. The spaces are short and usually crowded, so finding a place can be difficult. It suits vans and campervans up to 5.50m, but not larger motorhomes. No services are provided.

The site is good for visiting the village or going to the beach. I spent a couple of very peaceful nights here. The problem is that you have to be lucky to find a parking space; it’s always full. The spaces are arranged side by side. If your vehicle is longer than 5.50 m, don’t try it—you’ll stick out onto the road.
If you’re lucky and find a space, you can park here with a van. Right next door there is a paid car park with very large spaces, also suitable for motorhomes.
suitable for a 5.5m campervan or smaller vans. there are a lot of parking spaces but it’s very crowded and all spaces where taken except one even during offseason. But other than that it’s a wonderful spot next to a walking path by the sea
The view is nice but the parking spaces are very small and short and are not suitable for motorhomes.
The police came today around 4 p.m. to the huge public car park at Playa Playazo in Nerja, where there are always motorhomes. There were about 30 motorhomes, and they asked us to leave, possibly fining those who were not in their motorhome at the time to move it. They reminded us that motorhomes are PROHIBITED from parking anywhere in the city of NERJA!
Extremely busy and definitely unsuitable for parking with a 7 m van. Small vans only, and you need to be lucky to get a spot.
Indeed, spaces are scarce, but once you find one, it’s a convenient car park. 10–15 minutes on foot from the center, with a magnificent view and a sunrise thrown in!
Great, but there aren’t many spaces, so you need a little luck!
