Promenade des Vernets, 34420, Villeneuve-lès-Béziers
Been here?
Shaded three-star campsite on the Canal du Midi with a good restaurant and bar nearby. Pitches vary in size; reception helps larger motorhomes find suitable spots. Recent visitors report no hot water in showers, which is a significant issue. Noise from events can occur. Prices range from €34–63 depending on season and services.

The price is still reasonable considering the season and the campsite’s location—if and only if the hot water worked. That is the bare minimum.
Friendly welcome, pool area with sun loungers, and pitches on gravel or grass with shade. We stayed two nights during the feria without any problems; the campsite was quiet at night. Two stars deducted because there was never any hot water in the showers or for washing dishes, and the sanitary facilities were average.
Some kind of party or DJ played LOUD music and people screamed until 2 a.m.; then people returned to their campsites, screaming and showing no respect. The showers were okay, but there was no warm water. Two stars because the receptionist was super friendly!
Narrow streets and small pitches. The pool is terrible. It is expensive considering all that.
Friendly welcome, immaculate sanitary facilities, swimming pool, small grocery shop, bar, and restaurant. Pleasant campsite.
The campsite is well located facing the Canal du Midi. It is large and has a children’s playground and swimming pools. There is one well-equipped sanitary block for the whole campsite, suitable for adults, children, and babies, with adjustable water temperature. For a van and two people with electricity, we paid €31, although the app lists €23. Are we already in high season?
A pleasant and quiet campsite. Despite the previous reviews, we arrived with a 7.5 m motorhome and trailer. The pitches are suitable; it is true that some are smaller for vans, but reception found us exactly what we needed.
Two nights, €63.40 (Wi-Fi €3 for two devices). Swimming pool without water! Sanitary facilities okay.
We chose the campsite for one night; with ACSI it cost €22.72 for two people with electricity. Wi-Fi requires payment if you want to use it. Alongside the many permanent houses are smaller and larger pitches separated by hedges. There is a small shop inside the campsite, and outside beside the canal is a pleasant restaurant and bar-pizzeria. Water was not available at every tap, and there is only one toilet and shower block.
Extremely small pitches, total chaos. Absolutely avoid if you want peace and quiet.
We stayed one night with a tent car and two people. €34.72 including electricity. Good campsite, but now in high season it is quite noisy and the toilets and showers are a little dirty. Even so, very good and recommended.
Passing through Béziers, we chose this family campsite. Nice pool, although the inflatable play equipment remains in use in the evening. However, the night watchman stopped the noise at 10 p.m.
Campsite very well located on the canal for visiting Béziers. Some pitches have stabilized surfaces, others grass. ACSI for two people and one pitch: €22.72. At that price, cold showers made us less inclined to stay longer.
Campsite ideally located for cycling along the canal. Pool closed in mid-May. Spacious pitch with little or no shade—not a problem in May, but it would be in summer. Sanitary facilities adequate; water not very hot in the morning, probably due to solar heating. Friendly welcome. Wi-Fi costs €3 for three days and two devices. On-site grocery shop with bread in the morning.
Very friendly campsite, who found me a special parking spot on the pétanque court, even though they were full. They even offered me a reduced price. Very kind. Villeneuve is a lovely town, with all commodities and even food delivery to the campsite. Recommend!
Perfect. Delighted. €23 per night for a motorhome, two people, and electricity. Thank you.
