Been here?
Large, basic campsite with little shade and no view, recently described as more suitable for camper services than a comfortable stay. Hot showers are available, but recent reports mention an overcrowded pool, unclean toilets and a restaurant area under construction. Camper service was reported at 5€. The site can be noisy early in the morning, and the village has few nearby facilities.

We only used the service, friendly personal, 5€
Absolutely not recommended! For us it was more of a check-in parking area. No pitches (which would have been fine). No shade. Pool overcrowded. Beach far away. Restaurant under construction. Not as described on the website. Nobody showed or explained anything to us; we were simply parked like beside a railway track. We left after an hour.
Warning: if you park at the very front on the far left beside the rubbish, you are also directly on the cats' and dogs' “waste.” So disgusting! Because I wanted to see the washing machine beforehand, I was refused access. Emptying facilities are not suitable for large, tall motorhomes with a long rear overhang. Not recommended!
Very good showers. However, the toilets were not cleaned. Music and loud conversations on the site between 5:00 and 5:30 a.m. Then my night was over. The surroundings are somewhat bleak in winter. No shops or bar in the village.
Open on November 15, 2025, so at least 4 stars already. Excellent value for money on Sicily's coast. Bread delivery service available. Not very far from the beach or town. Nice, very helpful staff. If you think about it, you quickly realize that the bad reviews are unjustified. The site is small and has no view, but that does not make it bad.
Great place for us motorhome travelers. Very friendly owner who brings us fresh bread in the morning and gives us information about the region. Campsite with hot showers and very clean toilets. Highly recommended. Eric
Dirty, and the pool was closed at 4 p.m. on September 13, so we only wanted to use the motorhome services. I had read that they cost €5, but when I asked, they told me €7, which seemed deceptive. In addition, the receptionist was unfriendly and said she had no change, so I had to find some elsewhere and come back. Dirty, neglected, unpleasant service. I do not recommend it at all.
Nice and friendly owner, but the campsite has only a few pitches for campers and motorhomes. It is more like a permanent holiday camp with many long-term campers who are very active at weekends. In the off-season there were no services, and we felt a little as if we were on a construction site. Otherwise okay.
A “gribus” campsite in mid-April! Camper on a site for €23 including electricity for two people; the pool was still green, one toilet available, and the cement mixer was still in the pizzeria. Only the front area is for campers; the rest consists entirely of permanent cabins and caravans. No view, nothing to do in the village—in short, we have never had such a bad experience in Sicily. According to ACSI, a rating of 8.9??????? Not even a 3.
only went to service camper for 5 euros. ok although need to manœuvre to empty grey water. looking at campsite, only agree with previous comments.
AVOID. It’s a completely different campsite from that described by ACSI. Parked in what can only be described as the car park. Facilities are very run down and are not clean (supposedly new in 2021). The dishwash is so dirty weeds are growing in the sinks. Showers (only 2) look disgusting, but are hot and no tokens. The village is strewn with litter. Receptionist was very nice.
Great pool and nice owner. But that is all. It is actually an allotment settlement with a (carelessly maintained) gravel area for campers, so 99% are local permanent campers. Sanitary facilities are okay (toilet without a seat and without toilet paper); only 1 of 10 showers works. Hot shower costs extra. In my opinion, completely overpriced (€72 for 2 adults and 2 children in July). There were only two motorhomes in total—probably because of the price.
Nice owner, nice staff, and an excellent pool. We spent one night while passing through. The camper service could not be used by our motorhome. Strange arrangement for grey-water disposal. Sanitary facilities clean and old. Unfortunately, €45 is far too expensive (motorhome, 2 adults, 2 children) without discount cards.
Very dreary campsite in the off-season. Many barricaded permanent pitches, very, very basic sanitary facilities but clean, at least the next morning. No toilet seats. Washing-up only with cold water, and dirty, unsuitable sinks made of laid stones. No playground or equipment; our daughter was disappointed. Fine for passing through, certainly better in season, but probably not to our taste.
Old, noisy campsite; there is a road below. I was there 8 years ago and nothing has changed. €15 per night for a tent with electricity; no toilet paper in the toilets. Pool closed in September.
Discreet stopping place for one night, nice pool, mediocre facilities. Well-stocked market and excellent pizzeria. Recommended for a short stop.
