This parking place is no longer available. It was formerly a quiet overnight stop near Clandon Park and House. The car park was uneven, with one large, almost level tarmac space suitable for a wide van.

Wonderful green and quiet on Saturday afternoon parking! Yes, it’s a bit sloppy but with it being completely empty at night there are options. Did I mention it was dead quiet on Saturday night? :)
Very nice place to stop, with no restrictions. Generally the car park isn't level but there's 1 large spot (big enough for a LWB and wide van) that is almost perfectly level and on tarmac on the last corner before you exit. It looks like a little layby. Had a very peaceful stop here. The garden centre has a café, you can bring your door through the garden shop and outside seating of the café.
Very uneven. Come with good wedges! Gloriously quiet at night. However be prepared for more than 1hr of very loud bell ringing - until 9.15pm!!! Also, early morning with some walkers - starting at 6.30am - and also on week days, lots of parents use the car park to drop their kids off at school - around 8/8.30am.
