IN DISTRESS READ…we have a 3.10 m camper, according to every website, comment what so ever, we could not park next to the lake. However, yesterday we arrived at 21, the P3 had the barriers of 2.10m open so we went inside. We stayed overnight and only from 7:50 am we had to pay 20€ for today. So from 21 until 7:50 we stayed for free. After, at 7:50 am we payed the 20 € because we stayed for the day

Definitely a great park up for visiting Lago Di Braies. This is P3 and just 5 mins walk from the lake. At this time of year you pay €20 for 24 hours which also allows you to stay overnight. Unfortunately the car park attendant isn’t so friendly and is quite abrupt in explaining what you can and can’t do. Was told at 16.30 I couldn’t use the toilet and said go to the lake! P4 charges €45 for 24 hours so a no no being as it is literally next door.

Best view ever! Decent place with a view of the mountains. The lake, snack bar, and toilets are within walking distance. At 8:00 a.m. the parking attendant comes to collect payment.

Quite expensive at €45 to spend the night, but at least we were a 1-minute walk from the lake. At sunrise there was nobody there; we were the first, so that is the price to pay. There is nothing for wastewater or electricity.

We stayed here one night for €15. The place is pleasantly quiet, but somewhat sloped. In my opinion, too many buses full of people are brought here. I don't even want to know what it is like in summer. Otherwise, perfectly okay for one night. It is all without services.

Make sure you find P3 and NOT P4. P3 is €15 for the day until around 9am the next day (P4 is €35). This is a great spot for the night. We paid for the whole day so as to enjoy the lake. You can turn up late and leave very early and not pay but what’s the point in being there if you’re not going to enjoy the lake, which by the way in mind blowingly beautiful!

We stayed here with five other campers at the end of March for free. The lake is less than a 5-minute walk away. At that time of year, the lake was still frozen and not a highlight. Parking area sloped! No electricity or anything similar. There was no height restriction for us.

Super nice parking area; you should be completely self-sufficient. The adjacent forest is not a toilet!!! I paid €10/24 hours with my VW bus, but beware: a barrier will soon be installed here and then the parking area will become significantly more expensive.

Incredible views, a dream location. However, nobody was attending when we arrived or when we left, so we were not charged anything; the barriers were open.

€15 is absolutely reasonable, only 100 meters from the lake, and absolute peace at night. In mid-November we had a very cold but quiet night and a wonderful morning atmosphere, completely alone by the lake!

We have a 2.65 m-high van. We paid €15 at P3. We arrived at 4 p.m.; the attendant was there. There were not many people at that time to walk around the lake. Also, around 5 p.m. the boats returned to the landing stage, so we had beautiful reflections on the water. There are about ten vans/campervans in the P3 parking area tonight, and we are somewhat away from the traffic.

Today around 4 p.m., P4 was closed to motorhomes. P3 was accessible. Only a daily rate is charged. Whether I want to stay for one hour or overnight, I had to pay €15. So I will spend the night here with a beautiful view of the mountains. Unfortunately, it is somewhat sloped.

It is fine to take advantage of people traveling by camper, but this is excessive: €20 for 3 hours and €45 after 3 hours… They justify it by saying you can stay for 24 hours, but they should mention that the parking area slopes downhill… Go down 400 meters—it is very easy—and pay €10… You decide.

This parking area is incomprehensible. The attendant's welcome was appalling; he shouts at people. He only accepts cash. We returned 20 minutes later with cash, and the parking area was closed (at barely 5 p.m.). It never reopened, so it was impossible to park there. We ended up at P2, much quieter and cheaper!

Peaceful night! We were at P3, arriving after 4 p.m. I believe the €16 toll to drive up is no longer charged after September 10. We paid €15—the same price for one hour or one night!—ideal for seeing the lake in the evening and morning. Maximum height 2.40 m. No toilets outside opening hours. There is also P2 lower down and P4 right next door, with hourly payment.
