Camping Cala d'Oques

Wow! A very pleasant, open-minded place. We arrived in the evening without a reservation and there was plenty of room. We could choose our own spot. Shower and hot water were included in the price; everything was good. Even the “restaurant” kitchen was very good for a campsite. Close to the beach, with outdoor showers for rinsing off after the sea. Near the nude beach.

Super friendly welcome. I called beforehand because I only wanted to stay one night, and that was no problem at all. There was still plenty of space; it is not high season yet. Unfortunately, there is only one shower block, but it is clean and accessible only with a chip. The beach is 300 meters away on foot. Otherwise, I could imagine staying here for a few more days.

A lot of positives have been mentioned so little to add; perhaps the biggest negative is the large desert like area adjacent to the beach where lots of vans stand the heat and pay extra for their spot, but on the bright side it holds off overrunning and high prices

Beautiful, quiet place, very nice staff. Sanitary facilities are dated but clean. Only one sanitary facility with hot water at the entrance to the site, so depending on where you are staying it can be a long walk; the same applies to the chemical toilet disposal. Unfortunately, the washing-up sinks only have cold water. Pitches in the first row facing the beach cost around €3 extra. Free choice of pitch! Good value for money.

Very nice campsite directly by the sea, arranged in terraces. Free choice of pitch. Small restaurant, bar, and supermarket. A beautiful path directly at the site leads along the beach into town. Washrooms are somewhat dated but very clean.

Pleasant campsite, well located by the sea. Too expensive for what you get: €35 for two people and a van including electricity. They are not flexible or helpful. A washing-machine token could not be charged to the bill; payment by bank card was not possible either, only cash, with no exception. Many long-term and seasonal guests. Somewhat impersonal atmosphere. Many people over 60. Spanish noise and music on weekends.

We stayed two nights with our camper van directly on a large pitch by the sea. Plenty of space on the freely selectable pitches, either by the sea or under trees. Exceptionally well-maintained facilities and a good restaurant on site. Nice paths along the sea for walking the dog. Another restaurant about 200 meters away. The value for money worked for us. We did not connect to electricity.

Excellent campsite on the beach and the GR92, with a very warm welcome. The pitches are not marked, but the campsite has accepted bank cards for two years. Restaurant worth discovering!

We stayed here for four nights. The site is really great and directly on the beach. The staff are very friendly. There is a small shop with the essentials, including baguettes and croissants. The restaurant has very good prices and the food tastes very good. We will be back.

Wonderful here. Camping directly on the beach. Uncomplicated and super-friendly staff; we feel very comfortable here. Sanitary facilities okay. A small shop for fresh bread in the morning and a small restaurant round out the offering.

Easy access, fantastic location, very friendly welcome, plenty of vacant spaces and free choice of pitch. Despite being in the second row, there was an unobstructed sea view. One camper, one person, one dog, without electricity: €25.45, perfectly reasonable.

Reception staff very friendly; the toilets and showers are not new but always clean. No reservations, free choice of pitch, which can be changed as desired. The seaside location is a dream. A walk along the promenade conveniently takes you into town with cafés and supermarkets.

This place is special mainly because of its location right on the beach. Otherwise, there is nothing here. Restaurant and small supermarket available. About 3 km to the next town. Sanitary facilities okay, nothing more. We treated ourselves to a first-row pitch and paid €37.50 for a camper, two people, and electricity. No Wi-Fi.

Gravel paths, difficult for people using walking aids. No shower for people with health limitations. Fortunately, only three yapping dogs on the site. When will dog owners finally receive proper training...

Very nice place, but not enough toilets in the campground. There is a deposit for dogs, which was returned to us. Very expensive even in the off-season. With two small children and two dogs, we paid €47 for a small car (VW) without internet!

Campsite that has increased prices enormously: €33.50 per night for a motorhome, two people, and a dog. Wi-Fi is extra. The sea-view surcharge is nearly €4 more—outrageous.

We happened upon this great seaside site by chance. Very friendly welcome, everything uncomplicated, free choice of pitch. Sanitary facilities clean and well maintained. Payment by credit card was possible. We could not confirm any hostility toward dog owners, as described in previous comments. We will definitely return.

The campsite itself would be good and the welcome was friendly; there is even a dog shower. On the other hand, the rest is extremely unfriendly toward dogs and their owners. A dog costs an additional €9 per day, and a €10 dog deposit must be paid; it is kept if the dog is caught off leash or urinates on a tree. The restaurant is extremely hostile toward dogs!

Very nice campground. The reception is friendly. The restaurant was fantastic. The showers and bathrooms are outdated but clean.

Nice campsite, but I had to leave unexpectedly because of a red weather alert. In a hurry, I briefly brushed my teeth at the sink. The cleaner and a permanent camper immediately shouted at me. Despite my explanation, I was fined for a lost magnet. As a solo woman, this felt unnecessarily harsh. A shame, because the place has potential.

What a great place... everything is available. Facilities are checked and cleaned several times a day. Very nice staff. The on-site restaurant is also good. The direct sea view—at an extra charge for the first row—is simply wonderful. We stayed almost three weeks and would gladly return.

In mid-October we even got a first-row pitch directly on the beach. The seaside location is great, the staff were nice, and the sanitary facilities clean. We paid €26.15 for one night without electricity; good value for money. Reservations are not possible: you arrive and choose an available pitch. One point deducted because of the geese kept on site.

Dream site. Huge, yet still private, with very nice ladies at reception. Many pitches, including those in the second row, have sea views. Beach with little gravel and lots of sand. Twenty minutes to town. €22 per night for two people without electricity. We will definitely return!

It is fine, acceptable, without luxuries. Quiet nights. Clean bathrooms. There is a fairly good restaurant with a very friendly waiter. It is right on the beach. Nightly price for one person and a small van with electricity: €23 in October.

The campsite's location is fantastic because it is right in front of the beach. I stayed at the end of September with some friends and we were extremely comfortable. The facilities are very good—showers, toilets, etc.—and everything was very clean. We had complete freedom to choose where to park, and the reception staff were very friendly throughout. We will definitely come back!

Cheap campsite: €23 in September for two people without electricity. No marked pitches; it is informal parking on the flat area by the beach. Do not hesitate to go up to the terraced pitches, which are much quieter. Card payment accepted. Too bad there is no hot water for washing dishes at the second, smaller sanitary block.

Lovely site directly in the beach. Restaurant on site and the food is lovely. Small mini marker also on site. Dog wash area (shower hose). Sanitary facilities are good but could do with more as the site is very big and there are not enough showers. Pitches not allocated and you select your own pitch with sea front costing slightly more. The walk/cycle into town is flat.
