Thanks to the owners for allowing us to spend a night in this peaceful setting. We took the guided tour, which was very interesting, and the children were delighted to help care for the female donkeys and foals.
A magnificent setting in the heart of nature, surrounded by female donkeys and foals, all very gentle. Thank you to the owner for letting us park for free (paid services are available for those who are not self-sufficient). We bought donkey-milk soap and spread, which were delicious. We were welcomed by passionate owners. A quiet, cool night. We will return when we are back in the area. Thank you.
An extraordinary view. We had an excellent, peaceful night. The owners are very friendly and know their products extremely well. We bought many products and were delighted, so we returned, living only an hour away. I recommend the antiparasitic dog soap; it is effective and excellent value. The essential oils and soaps are inexpensive.
A fantastically beautiful place where you are also welcomed very warmly. We were here on June 16 and were allowed to park in the spot with the best view. We enjoyed the peace, quiet, and company of the donkeys. A wonderful family business. If we are ever nearby, we would gladly visit again.
We spent one night here on May 19 and thank you for your welcome. We had a peaceful night. In the evening, there was a magnificent sunset and an unobstructed view over the valley, with the donkeys coming to drink right beside us. We recommend this site and all the products we were able to try, which we are very pleased with.
Had a really nice, quiet visit. A warm welcome from the owners and their donkeys, cats and dog. The view is amazing and there’s a toilet you can use. Also a shower if you’d like (for a small fee). We couldn’t resist taking home a few of their home made products. Would recommend!
It’s always absolutely lovely here. We first discovered the site through France Passion in 2015 and returned again this year. Wonderful panorama, sweet donkeys, and great products in the shop.
5 minutes from the main road, peaceful, with a very beautiful view over the countryside. Very friendly welcome and a lovely shop where you will find donkey-milk soaps and related products. The parking area is clean and easy to access. We recommend this place. Brigitte and Christian
Everything was perfect! A great welcome, even on a Sunday! Wonderful shop and bar with excellent organic products that we couldn’t resist. Breathtaking views and sunset, with the donkeys within reach, plus two births just one day before our arrival! We will return without hesitation!
We received a warm welcome. The setting is beautiful, with a fantastic sunset.
Peaceful, surrounded by female donkeys. We paid €2 per person for the shower, and electricity costs €5 (we didn’t need it). We were welcomed very warmly by the owner at 7 p.m., and the next day we met Cécile, who looks after her donkeys with love. A great place for a pleasant night. There are even two wooden tables for eating with an incredible view!
Warm welcome in a soothing environment, with a breathtaking view and donkeys and female donkeys. Very quiet, ideal for a relaxing short stay. Beautiful products made from donkey milk are available for sale. A wonderful experience; we will gladly return.
Friendly welcome. Electricity and showers available if needed. Perfect.
Superb site. An unobstructed view all the way to the Pyrenees. Friendly welcome. A lovely shop with beautiful organic, homemade products. Very quiet, with magnificent male and female donkeys as neighbors. We recommend stopping here.
The journey is worth it! Very friendly owners, absolute peace and quiet, and the farm shop is fantastic. So many great products. A big thank-you for still offering a free parking spot nowadays. Electricity costs €5 for anyone who needs it.
The access is very chaotic. Do not turn left after Saint-Jean-Poudge; turn left farther on toward Mombert, where the road is much better. The view from the farm is simply magnificent. We were able to visit the shop and see the production of donkey-milk soap through a window. Perhaps we’ll return before summer.
Super! That is the right word. Quiet, beautiful view, and wonderful surroundings.
A beautiful, quiet place with great views. You park in front of a meadow and enjoy the company of donkeys. Many interesting, high-quality products in the farm shop. Friendly hosts. Thank you very much.
Careful, there are very few spaces. The place is absolutely peaceful and the view is relaxing, but there was no visit to the soap workshop and we were forbidden to approach the donkeys, which stayed 200 meters away. Mixed feelings and rather disappointing.
Very pleasant for the night, very quiet and welcoming. The shop is lovely, so don’t hesitate to ring the bell!
Very pleasant farm with a beautiful open view. No noise at all. A passionate owner. We look forward to trying the products! We recommend it and will return without hesitation.
We have just spent one night at Ferme du Hitton. Thank you for making this magnificent place available free of charge. We were unable to take the tour, but they took the time to talk with me and my children about raising donkeys. The shop is open on request!
Excellent and warm welcome. Very beautiful place! Explanations from the owner and a wide selection of products. I recommend it!
Most reviews give five stars, and they deserve them. We spent one night here, arriving late around 8 p.m. We introduced ourselves in the morning to pay before leaving. The view really is breathtaking, and the owner was lovely. They listen to their guests. We recommend it, and the essential oils and homemade soaps are very pleasant to use.
Perfect, magnificent view.
A stop at the top of a hill, with a magnificent view and donkeys for company. The place is ideal for relaxing and enjoying the passing of time. The shop is very nice, and you will find excellent donkey-milk spread there.
