Contrary to the information on its own website and here, the site is not closed. We were warmly welcomed by the operator and spent a very relaxing evening on a shady pitch.

Very large, green campsite, 30 minutes by bicycle from the beach. Very quiet at night, but not lit at all. Bathrooms not very clean, full of cobwebs, and somewhat neglected. The men's showers were cold. The dishwashing room was awful, full of ants, and the sinks sprayed water all over you.

A pleasant place to stay, recommended after the busy beach. Basic but good sanitary facilities. We arrived for one night and stayed for two. Shops are two minutes away by bicycle.

Very quiet campsite, but paying more than €40 for such limited cleanliness: empty soap dispenser, disgusting toilet brush, scalding women's shower, cold men's shower, and unpredictable water pressure. It may happen, but it should be clean. I now understand why there are so many pitches available.

Well-maintained site with large, partly shaded pitches. If the gate is closed, you have to call. We were welcomed by a friendly older gentleman. Administration takes a little while. June price: one motorhome, two people, without electricity, €24.10.

Good idea to contact beforehand at the moment. Charming and helpful reception. Shoulders of the season now but it’s still inviting and pleasant.

Well-maintained site, but communication with the owner, an older gentleman, was difficult. We were assigned a pitch close to others even though two-thirds of the site was empty. Sanitary facilities were typically French and old. Fine for one night.

The campsite is wonderful, full of trees and with very large pitches. The manager must have been here since the Normandy landings, just like the bathrooms, broom, and other equipment. We came for one night and stayed six days.

Perfect stop for a passing motorhome traveler looking for a quiet night in August without having to search all the crowded seaside spots. Many empty pitches on August 13. The elderly man at reception requires some patience; I hope he gets help during the June 6 commemorations, since Pegasus Bridge is nearby. The toilets are only marginally clean.

Nice, quiet campsite with large pitches, both under trees and in the sun. The sanitary facilities are like those everywhere in Normandy: thirty years old, no toilet seats, and reasonably clean. This time there was toilet paper! The manager is a very kind older man, but not very quick with administration. It took us more than 45 minutes to get through the sliding gate and barrier.

Family campsite with no entertainment. Very quiet, ideal for spending time away from the noise. Well laid out, with large, clearly marked pitches. Service point for all waste disposal on the campsite. Recommended. €20 per night without electricity.

We got a very calm spot under the trees (slept in a car), the sanitary facilities are quite outdated and not super clean (but there is always some toilet paper!). The old man at the reception was nice, but his English is very weak. It’s a good spot to make trips to the Normandy landings museums/sights from. Paid 20,20€/night for 1 car and 2 people.

Very close to Pegasus Bridge, but calm and peaceful. Run by an older chap, not the quickest on his computer , but who nevertheless who loves his gates, barriers and codes system. Be prepared for high farce getting in and out.

Wonderful Camping Experience – Don’t Be Misled by the “Closed” Status! Great and inexpensive camping spot! Despite what it says on this platform, the campsite is open and fully operational. It’s very quiet and peaceful — perfect for relaxing, with birds chirping all around. The free hot showers were a big plus. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a calm and budget-friendly getaway!

Rural campsite where peace and routine are greatly appreciated. The managers are elderly and have posted instructions everywhere. On arrival, you must pass through a gate and barrier. The facilities are dated and reasonably clean. The pitches are spacious. There is a bakery 15 minutes away on foot. It is an excellent base for visiting Caen, with a beautiful cycle path, and Pegasus Bridge.

My thanks go to the gentleman who still let me onto the site at 5:30 p.m. yesterday, even though the gates were already closed. We had a pleasant chat in a mix of French, German, and English, and I was allowed to spend the night here for €13. The sanitary facilities are old and no longer up to date. Nevertheless, I had a warm shower. The pitches at the front are reasonably level.

I contacted them by phone to find out the opening dates and whether a van pitch was available. The woman did not know when they would open and was very unpleasant and unfriendly!

The site is exceptionally beautiful, with many old trees and spacious pitches. The sanitary facilities are visibly old but clean. Here too, at the end of September, there was a noticeable end-of-season atmosphere.

One star for the good location and level camping spot. Otherwise, I advise against staying here. The dishwashing area was okay, but the sanitary section is old and dirty, despite the sign outside the campsite. Horrible! Part of the pricing on the sign outside had been blacked out. We had to pay €10.50 per day for the trailer and two motorcycles, while a pitch with electricity was cheaper. Wi-Fi does not work!

Very clean campsite, perfect for spending one night, with very large pitches. Five minutes by bicycle from Pegasus Bridge Museum and half an hour from Ouistreham via the towpath. The only negative point is that we could not refill our water at our pitch because all the taps were in very poor condition. The price is very fair: €28 for three adults and one van on June 6, 2024.
