We were there with a motorhome and had a spot directly by the lake. No extra charge for the dogs. You can cycle and hike well here. Boating is also possible. We went out on a SUP. The sanitary facilities are very basic but do what they are supposed to.

Beautiful, peaceful place, great restaurant. The sanitary facilities consist of only one simple toilet for women and one for men, but it was manageable. The kitchenette for washing dishes is poor, but the water is warm. I rate the surroundings and the owner's excellent approach highest.

The site deserves 5 stars, as does the friendly host, and the restaurant by the water is also fine. But even if you are not very demanding, the sanitary facilities are no more than one star. Two old toilets and one shower for roughly 60 pitches, at least half of which are charming little tents... The toilets are clean, though. Grey water must be flushed through the toilet.

Very friendly welcome; our pitch was reserved and the owner walked with us briefly to show us. A lovely place by the swimming pond. For campers there is a paved area where you can stand securely. Facilities are fine! We had a tasty meal at Restaurant Geertien by the water. The price on C4N is no longer correct: €26.50 per camper, including two people and tourist tax.

Nice small campsite, simple in layout; showers and toilets are basic but clean. Swimming lake and restaurant are the highlights. A transit campsite for canoeists. Lots of mosquitoes; it certainly lives up to its name ;-)

Lovely place. Quiet, with a small swimming pond. Many pitches directly by the water. The sanitary facilities are indeed outdated but adequate. The owner is very friendly and helpful. Restaurant with a beautiful terrace directly beside the campsite. But bring mosquito repellent: the campsite certainly lives up to its name. We will definitely return!

Beautiful place. Very peaceful. We were next to the lake, which was very beautiful. The toilet and shower are not modern but do what they need to do. The owner is very calm and accommodating. We will definitely return. Note: the price is not correct as of 2024. We paid €25.75 for two people, including electricity and tourist tax.

Very small campsite.Nice location near to Giethoorn,you can rent bikes or boat from the campsite and go there.We rented a boat and had a wonderful experience.There are only two toilettes and two showers,not very clean :( The restaurant is well located and beautiful, but very expensive.Many mosquitos, expected although, due to the lake nearby.

Beautiful mini campsite. There is a well-paved camper pitch suitable for our 4.5-tonne vintage vehicle. Nice swimming pond and restaurant at the campsite. The sanitary facilities could use an update. Super-friendly owner. Lots to see, walk, cycle and sail in the immediate area. Highly recommended!

Super beautiful place; we enjoyed two days by the swimming pond in the tropical heat. Nice walking, cycling and canoeing routes directly from the campsite, and a friendly owner. The sanitary facilities are a little outdated, but they were clean and the shower was wonderfully warm and free. I paid €20 per night for a camping pitch without electricity. Note: bring DEET, because in the evening the mosquitoes also think it is a wonderful place ;)

Absolutely top-notch campsite. Very nice staff, not far from Giethoorn and the national park. Lots of mosquitoes in the evening :)

The best camping place I’ve stayed at in the Netherlands. I arrived late at night and it was open; there is a bar, and ice skating is available in December.
