Daytime parking on a grassy field beside a lake beach, with no services. Overnight stays are not permitted, including on the neighbouring car park. Alkmaar is reachable by bicycle in 15 min, and the area has walking and cycling options, old mills and a nearby cheese market on Friday mornings.

Very beautiful place during the day. But you are absolutely not allowed to sleep there, including in the adjacent parking area.
We were there for a day trip. There are also parking spaces perpendicular to the road. It was sufficient for a Ford Transit with a bicycle trailer. The park is really nice, with its many bodies of water and the beach. It is 15 minutes by bicycle to the city centre. A small tip: many shops already close at 5 p.m.! And another tip: the large garden centre on the corner has very clean toilets!
We came late and left early which was fine. There was just one tent beside us.
