Lake views, no motorhome access

A very small spot near the lake offers mountain views and access to swimming and picnicking. Parking is now only possible somewhat above the lake, with a long walk to reach the lake and river. The place is suitable for a Kangoo but not for a motorhome, and nearby cattle and horses attract biting insects.

Although you can only park a little higher up than the lake itself, the place is simply magical. I have no words to describe how at home I feel here, or how amazed we are to be facing such beauty. Thank you, and thanks to the owners of this little safe place for letting us enjoy it.
The photos make you want to come, but it is a shame that you have to walk a long way to reach the lake and river. It would have been sensible to mention this to avoid the drive. Right next to it is a meadow with cows and horses, so the parking area is infested with horseflies, wasps, and other insects.
