Camping Cronos

15 EUR per night out of season. where can you find this price level? I cannot anywhere else. ok, the camping needs investment - agreed. but the location is great - the beach is a paradise. overall good exerience and felt very welcomed there.

On arrival, we received a friendly welcome, but we visited the campsite and left immediately. The campsite looks more like a migrant camp than somewhere where you would want to spend your holidays.

Out of season, with all the rusty and dilapidated caravans, the atmosphere is more reminiscent of a favela than a hippie place. The outdated sanitary facilities do nothing to improve the feeling of being in the middle of a shantytown. After trying in vain to find good points about the place, we turned around.

This is a really nice campsite, very shady and right by the beach. We love it and it is really inexpensive—€15 for the van and the two of us with our dog, without electricity. Perfect, and a lovely welcome.

After one year again in camping Kronos. We stayed almost 2 weeks and everything was perfect. As I already wrote last year this is for us one of best places in Greece. Thank you for everything Petros ank see you next time.

I was here for the last time in the early 1990s. Back then it was a fantastic campsite, ideally located with a small river running through it. I drove there yesterday and was shocked. Nothing has been done for 40 years. Only a few visitors. If you like things inexpensive and basic, then it is okay.

For us, who agree 100% with the initial comment, it is proving to be a wonderful place to spend a few relaxing days just a few metres from the spectacular sea at Vathi Beach. The facilities are as old-fashioned as they are clean, and the hot water in the showers works wonderfully. Petros looks after you with absolute kindness. Nearby there is a fantastic bar and taverna. €15 including everything!

Honestly, a simple campsite with super-friendly staff right by the beach. We love it. No frills, but pleasing guests is the owner's guiding principle. It is not five-star, but it does the job perfectly given the more-than-reasonable price for such a privileged location. Thanks to the team!

Hippie-style campsite, peaceful with a very cool and relaxed atmosphere! Affordable market, clean beach easily accessible, with a very cool and transparent river, spacious and very shady pitches. Very friendly and welcoming staff. Old-fashioned sanitary facilities, but a very reasonable price for one night (€16 for one van and two people, including electricity).

Very warm welcome from the owner. We had some difficulty parking our 8 m motorhome, but the price was very reasonable at €16 including electricity. Hot showers and a quiet campsite.

It is a very rustic campsite with hot water in the showers at all times, and it is cleaned several times a day. A well-stocked minimarket and a very nice, committed owner who is attentive and helpful. Directly by the sea, with a beautiful beach. We felt very comfortable.

We came here because of great reviews and were honestly disappointed. The camp is very unkempt and disorganized. A lot of regular campers with tents all over the camp. There is no order with pitches. The trees are not high enough aswell. For us and our 7m motorhome, not one pitch seemed accesible. The friendly owner also informed us that the camp is full till the 15th of august.

We completely agree with the positive comments about this campsite, with direct access to the beach and a clear, cool river flowing into it. Warm welcome from the owner; the sanitary facilities are a little old-fashioned but very clean, with all the facilities for emptying and filling a campervan. There is also a nice minimarket. Very affordable price. Highly recommended.

Very simple campsite, free parking, with everything necessary (adequate sanitary facilities, disposal and water filling), direct access to the beach and a nearby taverna. The manager is exceptionally kind—“no check-out.” To top it all off, €15 per night without electricity.

Super cosy place! Very simple, clean sanitary facilities and hot water everywhere. Everything needed for a relaxing holiday in Greece.

We really liked this campsite. The manager was incredibly welcoming—probably the best welcome in Greece among all the wonderful welcomes we received throughout the country. We stayed three nights; large, shady pitches, beach, bar and taverna, and above all a very cool atmosphere. The sanitary facilities are admittedly “as they were,” but the good vibes at this campsite more than make up for it.

A simple campsite with very basic sanitary facilities and a friendly owner. It may not be for everyone, but we liked it here. The campsite is built with the simplest means! At €15, it is fair for a place directly by the sea.

For us the best place in Greece. We was here 6 nights on beatiful place near the river. Camp is not new, but everything was clean. Petros is very nice person and he take care for everything you need. Beach is beautiful, there is beach bar and taverna with good food and fair price.

Off-leash area for dogs, many seasonal campers, extremely cluttered. Not recommended.

The campsite is open, €16 without electricity. The restaurant serves good food, and everything is friendly and clean here. Of course, it is not five-star, but the beach is great and clean. The sanitary facilities are basic but functional.

Now open, with few campers here yet. Very quiet, directly on a beautiful sandy beach. The restaurant and bar are also open.

Currently closed (early April 2025); inside, it looked as though renovation work was under way. It also seemed as though it would reopen for the high season.

We were here in June 2024. Spacious grounds with plenty of shady spots. The friendly groundskeeper showed us several available places by bicycle. The beach is directly at the end of the grounds and is shared with the locals. Small beach taverna with good pizza, and more tavernas nearby. Very basic sanitary facilities, everything a little chaotic, but we felt very comfortable here for four nights.

Authentic, retro campsite! Family-run Greek style. Good, very hot showers with plenty of pressure, beach bar and taverna, minimarket open late in the evening. I loved it! I imagine it is much livelier in high season.

Loved it because we like basic. 15 euros without electricity. Lots of very hot water. Good water pressure. By the beach. Not too many lights at all. Neglected rather than manicured. Huge site. Clean loos though very old concrete toilet and shower block with no loo seats or loo paper. Small shop. I

I thought that, given the many positive reviews, the description “scrapyard” might no longer apply. But it is unbelievable how much scrap is standing around there and how many people feel comfortable there. When it is full, the people probably obscure the sober view of the site. At the end of September, when the site was very empty, the scrap dominated for us. At €15 for an overnight stay and a shower, at least the price was right. We fled in the morning because our female dog was also harassed by large male dogs. One star for the super-hot showers in very sparse rooms.
