Been here?
A terraced campsite with a quieter upper section and more road noise below. It has two pools, with colder water upstairs and warmer water downstairs, but recent reports describe weak facilities and cold shower water. Pitches can be small and crowded, while the site is close to the lake and local amenities. A mini-supermarket is 400 meters away.

Quiet location and excellent setting (which saves the rating somewhat). Very poor facilities. The only campsite I have stayed at (among Portugal, Spain, and France) where I had to take a cold shower. During busy periods, the existing toilets and changing rooms are insufficient.Translating
We loved our stay! Impeccable facilities, good location, and a very welcoming family atmosphere.Translating
This is a very expensive campsite for Portugal, around 40 euros per night, due to its proximity to Lake Gerês and the limited parking possibilities. I give it 2 stars because, considering the price, the facilities are not up to standard: small pitches, a not very clean pool, and sanitary facilities with limited hot water that is insufficient when the campsite is full.Translating
Shaded pitches, but we are a bit crowded together. Sanitary facilities okay. Small pool, but quite a lot of flies. Fairly high price. You can walk to the lake beach. You need to go early because it gets crowded very quickly.Translating
Very warm welcome. Two pools. Too bad the pitches are small.Translating
The place is beautiful, very good location, and we were very warmly welcomed by Mr. Miguel.Translating
A lovely site with friendly staff, amazing views and spotless bathrooms. We only stayed 1 night prior to heading further into Geres but this lower part of the area is stunning.
Beautiful, well-maintained small campsite in a good location near the town. Friendly welcome; after calling the number displayed, we were able to enter and check in later. The sanitary facilities could use a little more attention. Everything is very clean, although the toilets are very cramped, the light in one building did not work, the showers are somewhat worn, and the sinks only have cold water. €25 for two people. Electricity costs an additional €6.Translating
Great campsite! Very clean, beautiful view, shaded, and all services! Even two pools (we did not use them because it was too cold outside). We loved it! The owner speaks a little French. €30 for a van, two adults, and electricity.Translating
Nice campsite for a short stopover, slightly small pitch but very clean sanitary facilities and a beach nearby, as well as small shops.Translating
It's fine for one night; they gave us a spacious pitch, but the ground is very dusty. Clean bathrooms and services, but they turned off the water at 10 p.m. One motorhome with air conditioning, three adults, and two children cost €46 without electricity. Good for filling up and emptying tanks. There is a children's pool and the river nearby, with inflatables and jet ski rentals.Translating
Pros: Very friendly welcome, clean sanitary facilities, small swimming pool with natural water. Otherwise: pitches like a parking lot, very cramped, sometimes unpleasantly so, and occasionally noisy from the road. Fine for one night. We stayed in a storage space and paid the same. €28 for motorhome, two people, and dog.Translating
Great welcome. Very good stopover campsite.Translating
Magnificent, everything is top-notch; the outdoor areas and sanitary facilities are clean. Very friendly staff, beautiful parking spaces, clean pools, and barbecues everywhere—you just need to bring charcoal, everything else is provided. The only thing missing is a small grocery store, and it would be perfect, but there is one about 700 meters away.Translating
We had a great time at this campsite. The staff was extremely kind and helpful, and the site was above all very clean. The location is ideal, with only a short distance to the lake, restaurants, and various adventure activities. Highly recommended! We would come again for short stays.Translating
Very friendly and family-oriented campsite; the managers are extraordinarily kind. The campsite is beautiful and exceptionally clean. The toilets and showers, like everything else, are absolutely faultless—nothing to say except a huge bravo for the cleanliness. A campsite I will surely return to without any hesitation. Congratulations to the managers, and keep it up. Thank you for everything.Translating
Beautiful small campsite. A great starting point for Gerês National Park. Small pool, perfect in the heat. Few shaded spaces for motorhomes. But there was a TV and a small bar showing the European football championship. It was very pleasant and family-oriented.Translating
Excellent campsite with all the basic facilities. The showers are clean and hot. It is quiet and tidy. There is a small, clean swimming pool. The only thing we missed was a small playground for the children; otherwise, a great place. We paid €27 for two adults, two children (one of whom paid), and the camper.Translating
Small but beautiful site! Winding and partly narrow approach, but the view of the lake is worth it. Very friendly staff. The reception is currently not staffed continuously (simply call the number displayed on the entrance door). Clean sanitary facilities, but very small sinks with only cold water.Translating
Beautiful small campsite. Enough space for a camper. Clean sanitary facilities with hot showers. Friendly welcome.Translating
Very good, clean campsite in a beautiful setting. However, the night was a little difficult because stray dogs barked continuously in the distance, and the church bell began ringing every half hour from 3 a.m. The welcome was very pleasant nevertheless, and we will return if our route brings us here again!Translating
We were looking for a place for one night and found a real gem here. The bathroom is very well maintained and clean. There is even a pool. Small, well-kept campsite at a great price!
Very cozy little campsite, showers with cubicles and very clean sanitary facilities, a very small pool, €35 per day for three adults, camper, and electricity (early August).
