Lighthouse parking, unsafe surroundings

We eventually chose to stay in the parking area by the swimming pool after getting permission. This is an unguarded parking area; the gate closes at 7 p.m. No problem, because an inner route leads to the small harbor, the beach and the old fishing spots. The lighthouse should also be accessible. We are parked on grass and it is clean.

It’s very dirty, with so much rubbish around—it’s a shame. But I agree with the other comments: it’s hard to find anything better nearby. We felt safe there, although we would not leave the van unattended.

We arrived late at night and simply needed somewhere to sleep. For that, it was perfect. There is a trash bin. Four stars only because quite a few cars pass by, especially in the morning. But it didn’t bother us.

We slept for two nights. A little noisy because cars turn around at the end of the harbor. Many fishermen arrive early in the morning to position themselves on the breakwater or leave by boat. We did not leave the motorhome unattended. Uninteresting place but close to the airport. We had no safety problems.

Plenty of parking and a bit noisy at night. It doesn't look very safe, but it does for the night.

Not a nice area! Lots of rubbish and it didn’t seem safe either. We drove on.

Interesting area. You should not expect a clean place. The old lighthouse, a real “lost place,” offers adventure. In the off-season, you can always find a spot for the night heading north.
