Rough seaside parking, nighttime music

Dirty and noisy. Two beach venues play music until 3 a.m., which can be heard in the distance. There is also passing traffic. We had little choice and spent the night. From Via Rumbolo there is no height restriction. You have to cross the riverbed, which is dry in summer. In winter it may not be possible.

The rubbish has apparently been gathered together by now. There is only one large pile of black garbage bags in front of the entrance to the old campsite, awaiting collection. I spent a quiet night with a wonderful sunset and a view of Mount Etna. The police drove around several times but did not complain.

Unpaved, shaded area near a disused campsite. Beautiful panoramic view with the sunset behind Mount Etna. Unfortunately, we found rubbish on the beach and around the parking areas. There is a rudimentary tap connected to a hose that provides water. We spent a quiet night alongside another camper.

Perfect for sleeping and an early swim. The beach is quite clean for southern Italy, and the water is clear as almost everywhere. Warning: the approach via Melito has a 2.40 m height limit! Via Anna, the underpass is higher.

intriguing little abandoned campsite. smashed electrical boxes everywhere, and piles of trash some burned. used by the locals to park. surprisingly the tap in the very middle actually works, but it uses a massive screw thread so impossible to hook up. you're much better off parking a little further east at the standard car park, where you can view the coast. A new lido is being built here

It’s actually a nice spot. Some trash around, but nice trees for some shade. BE AWARE: there is a smaller guy with a red Audi sport car. He came close to us and started to masturbate in front of us. After we yelled at him, he left, but continued to check and came back the next day. He seems to live around. Maybe not the best place for solo traveling women.

By the sea and clearly abandoned, with a lot of rubbish, but quiet at night. You cannot hear the train at all. If it were kept clean, it would be perfect. No lighting or electricity. A large black pipe comes out with a tap; perhaps people showered here, but when we visited it was not yet swimming season.

Great spot right by the sea. Relatively little rubbish. We had a quiet night. I cycled to the village to Osteria Turioleddu and ate very well there. Otherwise, not much was open.
