Reservoir pull-in, flashing cars

A small pull-in beside a reservoir, with space for about 4 campervans and direct access to the Taff Trail. It is flat or partly flat, sheltered by trees, and has wooden tables and benches across the road, but no bins or other facilities. Recent overnight experiences involved cars repeatedly arriving and flashing their lights, making the spot unsuitable for a comfortable stay. The area is also used as a forest entrance rather than a formal car park.

Two minutes after arriving, car pulled up and started flashing their lights. Left straight away. Annoying as this is a rare park up off the main road, ruined by doggers once again.
Same experience - cars pulling up, decided to leave. It's not really a parking spot, more of a large entrance to the forest. Shame.
It’s ok if you are into cars flashing their lights at you, we weren’t comfortable and left at 10.40pm cars had been coming and going all night. There weren’t any signs to say no overnight parking. This was on a Thursday evening.
A nice secluded spot next to a reservoir. Under cover of trees. Enough space for several campervans. Wooden tables and benches across the road.
Beautiful little stop. lovely and flat. not too busy. there is nothing stating no overnight parking. good mobile signal on EE.
Lovely area. Very busy with camper vans, but we were there on a Saturday night. There were lots of walkers in the morning going off for their morning stroll. Wasn't rubbish filled, which was an added bonus.
Nice spot, only we were both a little bit spooked out, which were unsure of why. The place was quiet and somewhat flat, but took a bit of driving back and forth to find a flat spot. Lovely little picnic area nearby overlooking the water, great for morning coffee. No bins though. An almost superb spot if it weren’t for us being a bit spooked.
we stayed here once before a few months ago and thought it lovely enough to stop again, I'm here as I write this. not seen any bad litter anywhere which is odd for Wales to be fair, usually there's rubbish strewn everywhere! not had any dogging experiences either but once I'm comfy I don't really look out the windows. all in all of highly recommend it, lovely walk straight up the hill too
The place itself is nice, close to the lake, and you can walk in the forest. We had no strange incidents that evening. However, it must be said that some rather strange people do frequent the area. For one night, it was perfectly fine for us.
The place itself is nice, close to a lake with a trailhead. But it is clearly not recommended for a woman alone… a dogging spot (a place for exhibitionism and voyeurism). A woman arrived in a panic because a man had tried to rape her in the forest… a bit creepy.
