1 Strada in Costruzione, 85010, Castelmezzano
Been here?
This private parking area at a quad-rental business is currently inaccessible because of a no-entry sign. When access was possible, it was a basic, partly shaded overnight spot with attractive views of Castelmezzano. Recent reports variously describe 10€ without service or 20€ with electricity, and no water or waste-disposal facilities.

We couldn't get to the motorhome parking area because of a no-entry sign. Before entering the town, however, there is a large parking lot on the right with part reserved for campers.
Great place. €10 without services. Attention: the navigation system may lead you through the town's narrow streets. No problem with a VW bus. For us—6 m long and 2.8 m high—it was borderline. A normal road goes around the town.
We arrived around 11 in the morning and spent one night there. The cost is €20, with electricity as the only service. There is no possibility of dumping or filling at either the parking area or in the town. The cost is perhaps a little too high considering it is just an unpaved area with no other services. I recommend calling before arriving, as there are only a few spaces available.
Very basic, but the view of the town in the evening is wonderful.
Excellent location for admiring the scenery at night. We arrived after 6 p.m., so we were able to stay overnight, but tomorrow we have to leave at 9:30 because it is booked. They were very kind, and we paid €20 including electricity. Everything was beautiful.
Private parking in the village itself. Our vehicle is 7.5 m long, but the very kind owner found us a space. Services are limited to fresh water and electricity. No dumping of grey water or toilet waste. But you are right in the village; we stayed for one day, from noon until 10 the next morning, for €15 including electricity.
Private, level space at the edge of the town. Friendly manager, helpful with information and excursions. Partly shaded. Excellent for the night.
Excellent location for spending one night and one day; we paid €20 for the 24 hours to the quad-bike rental stand manager. The view of the village is magnificent.
Expensive for the conditions. We paid €20 with electricity; it is a poorly maintained patch of land. However, we did have a lovely view of the village.
It is better to park in the municipal parking area because it is cheaper, more scenic, and flatter. Just continue along the road...
We stayed here in December 2024. Very convenient for visiting the town. We paid €1 for one hour.
Parking with an electrical hookup and a beautiful view of the town. There are 12 motorhome spaces; the cost is €20 for 24 hours, or €10 for the whole day. Level and strategically located right at the entrance to the town.
The parking is also available in winter (stayed 1 night on 22.02.2025), but there is only electricity, no other services. At 3-4 minutes walk there was a public toilet but it was closed. The church's bell rang even on midnight, but we didn't hear it during sleep. Great location for visiting the town+the place itself is a panorama point. Nice and welcoming owner. Paid 10 eur, electricity included.
Great place for a night (or more). We paid 15 euros overnight with electric. It’s a small gravel car park with space for 3 or 4 vans. No facilities but there are good day time village toilets nearby. The village is beautiful with great hikes and the car park has a fantastic view of the village. It’s in a great location and we felt safe. Nice guy who owns the quad bikes. Bit noisy in the evening.
Busy of a weekend with lots of outdoor walking, climbing , quad biking. The zip line looks fantastic. Parking was as it says just a gravel car park but has electric, no waste or toilet facilities so self sufficient. Staff were great and the views are amazing !
