This is a flat parking area behind the Eagle's Nest Tavern, with panoramic views from the ridge road 10 km above the monasteries of Meteora. The restaurant serves good food, and recent visitors used its toilet and filled their water tank. The final access includes a steep section over 10m. It is not reliably quiet, with late-night guests, loud pickups, shouting and a barking dog reported.

We ended up here to escape the super-touristy area of Meteora while staying nearby. A very nice, flat parking area behind a good restaurant. We used the toilet and filled the water tank. The food is good.
Fantastic view, good food, friendly staff, flat parking behind the restaurant. ...however, if you are after a quiet night, look somewhere else. the last guests leave well after midnight and their pickups are loud. Some of them are shouting. The old dog barking loud is not resting for more than a few minutes at a time. ..and then the struggle was crowned by the garbage truck just before sunrise...
Work has been carried out, and access to the restaurant parking area is now suitable for all motorhomes. The food is very good at €20 per person.
Closed in February 2023. Is it closed permanently?
