Lakeside parking, overnight prohibited

Very nice but isolated, reachable after 2 km on an unpaved road, with vegetation encroaching on the already narrow roadway. Toilets are present but closed. Water nearby.

€400 fine. The police were unmoved. Parking is not allowed.

Nice place, water working to refill RV, dog is still barking but is not too loud. I would advise against this place because sheer amount of ticks. In the morning two locals came watching and then when we were about to leave the police came, they watched for a second and went away without saying anything. Probably if there would be any signs of camping (chairs out etc.) there would be problems…

Excellent parking area opposite the church; quiet night, and we were not disturbed in any way. The spot is reached via a few kilometres of well-maintained unpaved road (SP 42). The toilets on site, like the church, were closed.

The road to get here is unpaved, we were a little doubtful driving here. But the spot is beautiful! A dog barking in the distance, further no noise, no one is here. Feels like a very special place surrounded by nature. with our 3.5t and 6.50m van its no problem to get here, but not suited for big motorhomes. water is working.

Great spot sheltered from the wind, very quiet and restful for one night, with a lovely view and a water point too. The dogs visited during the night because we had left the dishes lying under the van—bad idea, haha—but they are not aggressive and did not bark as previous reviews said. Very clean place; take your rubbish with you, as everywhere.

Pros: Three tables and benches available. Water tap available. Cons: The shepherd dogs bark for half the night. Toilet closed.

With a 7.5-metre vehicle, the road is very, very narrow, especially the final section to the church. The bend is very tight, so I drove up in reverse—and of course had to do the same the next morning to leave. But the worst part is that you are directly in a kennel. One or two dogs bark all night. The site is pretty, but the terrible night made us regret coming.

Spent a very peaceful night, views of the lake and on a clear night an incredible starry sky.

Peaceful and serene place. A few campers were with us, and the locals were very friendly. Water is available, but the toilets are closed.

The place is exactly as described. Very quiet for sleeping; we were alone. When we arrived, we could hear animal bells in the surrounding area, but we heard nothing during the night. There are two water points, one with a hose. There is a picnic area. In the morning, a local resident came to fill a water container and greeted us very kindly.

A quiet, sacred place. I was lucky that a service was held today in honour of Santa Greca. Yesterday, four ladies who had prepared the wonderful floral decorations kindly invited me for coffee. Thank you very much.

Super beautiful, quiet place. Dreamy even in the rain. Unfortunately, the church and toilets are closed, but the tap is excellent. Great view of the lake.

A very beautiful, truly quiet place in the dirt parking area of a church in the middle of nature. The road is accessible. Do not worry about the small potholes, even in rainy weather.

Beautiful but remote. Everything was fine, but at 1 a.m. a normal car arrived and parked next to me, and I could not get back to sleep. I decided to leave; it was probably a stealth camper, but I left just in case. As campers, let us consider the impact on other campers of arriving at such a place at that hour—especially if your vehicle is neither a van nor a motorhome! If you are reading this, you scared me half to death!

Excellent spot, but to reach it from the west via State Road 131 D.C.N. (the “Lago Omodeo” sign), you need a small vehicle because there is a narrow, somewhat rough section of unpaved road.

A peaceful place with water available, accessible by motorhome even though a few branches stick out. The dirt track is passable, but the route is shorter when arriving from the north!
