Free parking by Amazing Grace Viewpoint and the beach on Lough Swilly, with sea views and a 10-minute walk to pubs and shops. A 2m height barrier limits access, although road parking and another nearby car park are available. Public toilets open by 8:00am, and the area is busy during the day but generally peaceful at night.

height barriers in place. no good if you are over 2m high
Superb, theres another car park (2m limit) further up road away from playground and toilets like 2 mins walk away.. I got a sea view and then an amazing run along the shore, such an Amazing Grace place (Google it!)
Unfortunately, there is a 2-metre barrier that prevents you from getting near the sea if you have a large van or motorhome. Still, you can park on the road, with plenty of space. I’m just not sure how safe it is to park there overnight.
Cant recommends highly enough. Perfect spot. Beautiful, friendly little town and beach. Short walk to very nice restaurants, pubs and grocery stores, even a very handy shop at the petrol station over the road. Water and waste disposal. We're 7.8 metres and we got in. If someone had parked opposite we would have been stuck.
Lovely views from this location. Nice and flat. Popular during the day with visitors to the park. Had a couple of late night car visits but no problems. Expect early morning chatter from joggers and dog walkers. Public toilets locked overnight, open by 8:00am. 15 minute walk to town centre.
