Free river parking, quiet nights

Free, quiet parking, just a short walk from the centre and beside the river, with a playground and facilities for swimming in the river. Toilets and outdoor showers are a few metres away, near the athletics track. We slept there for one night; everything was quiet, with other campers.✦Translating

We stayed here for two days. It felt safe, busy during the day but quiet at night, unlike the large car park opposite Acquatika on the other side of the river, which is used at night by modified cars drifting around in an obvious display of Freudian compensation. A lovely riverside beach with a lifeguard is a five-minute walk away.✦Translating

Very good spot near the Korana River, with lovely walks nearby. Except in very hot weather, there is no shade. Four motorhomes were beside the car park, a little farther away under the trees. There is no more space and it is not reserved for motorhomes.✦Translating

The cleaning vehicle was a little annoying in the morning, but otherwise it was adequate for one night. There were no authorities around.✦Translating

Very nice parking area in a park, in a quiet neighbourhood. About 1 km on foot to the town. We stayed for one night; it was practically empty at night. No surprises and no fine :)✦Translating

Large parking area inviting you to stay, especially as it is right by the water. The city centre is within walking distance. There is a bakery about 850 m away. Adjacent is a small park or green area with tables and seating. Great for overnight stays and a short stroll through the city.✦Translating

I was here on 20 September. In a beautiful, quiet and safe park. Although there was a wedding at the nearby restaurant in the evening, nobody disturbed us. It emptied out towards evening.✦Translating

Nice place next to the river. There are children playgrounds at the parking and aquarium on the opposite site easily accessible by foot about 5 minutes. Quite noisy early in the morning, due to the man cutting grass around us and the people walking around.

Instead of staying in the large parking field that is near Cafe (as it had little shade), we chose the smaller street just nearby  also marked with  "P", where there are trees providing some shade. It was quiet during the night and felt safe overall. Some morning noise (people walking, cars coming from 6AM), but it was manageable. Nice place to walk around as well.

Very good place near a large shaded park and with lovely access to a lake or river, where you can cycle, as well as into the city via a cycle path. We spent a peaceful night here and had a great time the next day. Recommended for a pleasant stopover; there are no services.✦Translating

We spent a quiet night here, arriving late in the evening, and were not disturbed by any noise. The parking area is close to the town centre. The river did not seem clean enough to swim in.✦Translating

Doesn’t feel like a safe area and we had a man cycling around the van in circles and knocking on the window. We soon left to another area!

Good place to park; no problems at all at night, and very quiet from 10 p.m. until about 7 a.m. About 15 minutes to the old town. There is currently a major construction project there, with all the roads being renovated—great! Many nice bars in town. A great stopover for us!✦Translating

Five stars for the location. Eat at Ćevabdžinica Behar round the corner. Good quality local food at reasonable prices. Had a swim in the lake in the morning. Relatively quiet night. Some kids hanging about. But caused no bother. Felt safe. Two other vans here. Nikolai Tesla museum very close.
