Canal-side parking, soft bumpy access

We spent one night here, arriving after dark and leaving again first thing in the morning. Adequate for an overnight stay. Although it is directly beside the road, we still slept well and parked so that we woke up with a view of the water from the roof tent.

Large, level parking area near a lake. At the entrance there are some very deep potholes, but it is manageable even with a caravan. Few cars pass at night. Finding the entrance in the dark was not immediate.

The ground is very soft and has a lot of bumps. The parking area is next to a road.

A low-lying spot with lots of traffic and beside the road, but with a small vehicle you can easily drive up the sandy track shown in the photo and find yourself alone with a superb view of the canal. I spent the evening and night there without any problems.

Beautiful place to be. A lovely walk can be taken along the water. It is next to the most obvious parking area, but there is an even better spot on the other side of the water.

Great place. Although the road is next door, you can hardly hear the cars. The night was very dark, which I like, and very quiet. A few mosquitoes in the evening, but so what. Excellent!

I was there alone, and the place helped me find some peace after a long drive. Only an occasional car used the road. It was quite muddy when I was there, but still easily drivable.

Quiet at night, with occasional cars in the evening. In the morning there was commuter and agricultural traffic. Overall, quiet. A beautiful walk through the forest along the river.

Great campsite. We had a quiet night, but we did not dare drive up to the lake with our vehicle. We had a wonderful view of the lake in the morning.
