Shaded village site, winter water unavailable

Very busy during the day, very quiet at night. The park lights switch off around 11 p.m., leaving everything dark. Fine for spending one night.✦Translating

Good for emptying waste tanks, but useless for water. No threaded connection, no pressure, just a push button. It could be done with a watering can, but it would take a very long time. We went elsewhere for water.✦Translating

Excellent for visiting the village and the rock sea, or cycling on the greenway. The nearby road is barely audible, much less so than people talking in the parking area, whatever the time. The only drawback is that the drinking-water tap is push-operated and has ridiculously low flow, even for filling a bottle.✦Translating

A lovely village to explore and a rock sea to walk through, via a 1.5 km trail. The tourist office is excellent. An ideal place to stop. We spent an unplanned night here.✦Translating

Emptying was fine, but for water there is a tap in the toilets, which are not very clean, with the correct fitting and a fast flow. They are right at the far end of the parking area. Very convenient for visiting the town.✦Translating

I do not understand why people give poor ratings. It is a lovely little town to visit, and the municipality provides free water. I would not necessarily recommend it for sleeping, but for emptying waste water and filling up, it is perfect!✦Translating

2/2 - Drinking water: admittedly, the tap has no thread, but every good motorhome owner has a complete set of fittings, including a universal adapter (see photo). With that, you can connect anywhere. The main drawback is that the flow is rather weak and you have to press the tap every 15 seconds or so, unless you find a way to keep it pressed.✦Translating

1/2 The description and comments are very harsh! The service area works perfectly: - Grey water: plenty of room to manoeuvre and empty, no problem. - Black water: I interpreted the red “Non-potable water” sign with the small cast-iron plate underneath as a black-water emptying point. After all, it is an official service area.✦Translating

Free space with some shelter (flood zone so only in good weather). Facilities for rubbish only. Short walk to interesting village of Sauve . Restaurants and boulangerie short walk

Parking area not recommended.

I only used the disposal facilities. Grey water and toilet disposal were problem-free. Fresh water: no thread and very low pressure. Filling a 10-litre watering can takes about 4–5 minutes;-) but it is free!
