We got a good spot under the olive trees. On the second day we were the only guests. Rutger is very busy with his construction project, with little noise. The sanitary facilities are outstanding. We slept very peacefully. We cycled with our dog in a trailer to Loreto Aprutino for an hour; the southwestern route is much more beautiful and less steep.
It was very disappointing. The reviews promise more than there is. The Dutch owner did not welcome us, and we often saw him at the campsite. Very impersonal, and it is swarming with flies—simply unbearable! We expected a genuinely warm welcome at a beautiful farm campsite where wine, olive oil, and other products were central. These can be ordered on the campsite’s website, but they are too expensive.
Pure idyll! Very nice couple. Dinner recommended. Relaxed atmosphere.
Spacious pitches and clean sanitary facilities. But it is directly beside a road that is sometimes busy and sometimes quiet, while also being in the middle of nowhere.
We found this pitch by chance. We spent a wonderful week here. The young family is very kind and hospitable. The site is about a 20-minute walk from the town. If you like complete peace and quiet, this is exactly right. Surrounded by olive trees, we really enjoyed the days and peaceful evenings here after motorcycle tours.
They serve local food which you can eat at the porch or in your camper. That's nice. But for a 5 star review you need more. That should be earned and not bought. Everywhere are signs for a €5,= cashback when you show them a Google review. Next to a road where cars drive fast (also the owner with his RV) , inconsistent power which went on and off all the time. No, we didn't feel it here.
Very beautifully situated if you are looking for a quiet place. Wonderful pitches under ancient olive trees. New sanitary facilities, bread-roll and coffee service, house wine, and more. Very nice operators. We paid €32.50 for a large pitch, which was reasonable. Reservations recommended, as there are only about eight pitches.
A lovely small-scale campsite. Good sanitary facilities, hospitable Dutch-speaking owner, and a pleasant site.
Lovely place to escape the bustle for a while. With wonderfully hot showers. Somewhat expensive in the low season.
Nice, quiet pitch among olive trees. Unfortunately, during our stay there was no toilet paper, nothing to dry hands with, and no rubbish bins in the sanitary area. The operators are very nice, but we only saw them at check-in. The shower water was nicely hot. We did not see a washing machine.
Very warm welcome and services as described, tastefully provided. Easy access for a large motorhome like ours. Thank you for this lovely place!
Nice small campsite with seating and barbecue facilities, clean new showers and toilets. The last few hundred metres are challenging but manageable for large motorhomes; it is better to approach via Pianella. We stayed for three days and felt very comfortable.
We arrived in the evening, quickly made a reservation online on-site, and paid online. Everything was really uncomplicated, and the hosts were very friendly. The toilets and showers are truly the nicest we have ever experienced in Italy, and the place itself is wonderfully romantic among the olive trees. We would come back every time!
A beautiful spot in an olive grove. The hosts are incredibly kind and interesting people, and extremely welcoming. We had a wonderful time and many great experiences, including roasting coffee together, excellent conversations, the wonderful peace and quiet of the place, and the outstanding olive oil. We will definitely come back.
What a wonderful evening at this great campsite. We spontaneously sat on the terrace with other guests, surrounded by atmospherically illuminated olive trees, and the incredibly friendly hosts treated us to freshly grilled lamb skewers and good local wine. We have never experienced anything like this in 45 years of camping. Thank you, Lisa and Rudger (and the other lovely guests).
Small, charming, and beautifully located campsite in an olive grove with very friendly operators. Dinner is available. The sanitary facilities are new, spacious, and very clean. Cozy. Access: At the roundabout, look out for the small road leading to the destination. We have a motorhome that is 6.30 m long and 2.40 m high. We would be happy to come back.
Pitches on gravel (leveling blocks needed) under the olive trees and close to the road. Although there is little traffic, the site is not completely quiet. You can eat here, for example arrosticini for €12.50 per person, or enjoy a wine tasting for €20 per person. Good for an overnight stop.
Very clean and well maintained. Peaceful, among the olive trees, with a very friendly welcome! Arrosticini in the evening accompanied by pesto pasta and some background music! Excellent wine tasting, and they produce olive oil! Everything you need for a pleasant stay!
We were there on August 11. Despite not having a reservation, we were allowed to stay. Our laundry was washed and brought to the camper. We paid €42 for one night but were not given an explanation of how that amount was calculated (presumably the stay and laundry). Rutger asked for the length of the camper, but I found no indication that this affects the price. It is a shame that there is no gray-water dump.
Quiet campsite in the olive fields, perfect for one night. Two showers and two toilets. One shared sink for washing dishes. A few spaces for vans and motorhomes on flat gravel. They offer skewers in the evening or pastries in the morning (reservation required). Bring long extension cables to connect to electricity.
It is so beautiful here! Olive trees are everywhere! Very cozy and clean. I really recommend it to everyone! All the facilities are available! Please come here!!! So beautiful! So beautiful!!
Wonderful nature campsite at an olive oil producer, with pitches under the olive trees and a family atmosphere. Organized wine tastings with grilled meat skewers are available, along with a wonderful view over the valley. Go cycling or relax under the trees; hammocks are provided. Simply wonderful. The sanitary building is new, there is an outdoor dishwashing area, and waste disposal is possible.
What a beautiful place in an olive grove with hammocks. Beautiful sanitary facilities. We had a delicious wine tasting with four different wines and lamb skewers barbecued on the grill. It is a wonderfully peaceful campsite.
What peace and quiet. Wonderful, among the olive trees. Highly recommended! The sanitary facilities are beautiful. And if he asks whether you would like to come and eat skewers, DO IT! She serves excellent wines. Five stars? As far as we are concerned: TEN!
Great campsite among the olive trees, with a very warm-hearted host who organizes wine tastings and prepares delicious barbecue dinners. It is fun sitting at a long table with the other guests. Rutger, many thanks from Edwin and Patricia.
A wonderful place in the middle of an old olive grove. In the evening, some of the trees are illuminated, creating a nostalgic scene. It is an excellent place to stay for one night. The site is still being developed. The sanitary facilities are in the house. Following Rutger's recommendation, we took a beautiful walk in the surrounding area.
Beautiful place among the olive trees. Wonderfully peaceful, with lovely gravel pitches between the olive trees. Friendly host and hostess. The wine tasting with other camper travelers was gezellig!
Beautiful, peaceful place among olive trees. The hosts are very helpful and accommodating. Unfortunately, the toilet situation is still provisional at the moment. The same applies to waste disposal.
Despite booking in advance and paying a deposit through the website, there was no space available. We then squeezed into the garage yard for one night. The bathroom is new, but there are far too few facilities for so many pitches. It was not cleaned, and the toilet paper was not replenished. Everything is still a construction site (not secured, so be careful with children). It will surely become a great spot once it is finished! Basically, it has a great location.
Very nicely located, the hosts are extremely accommodating. The view is very beautiful. Somewhat noisy road. When fully occupied there are 30 people but only one toilet with shower. The toilet emptying and washing-up facilities are not very hygienic.
Although we had not booked and it was actually full, we found a place behind the house on the tent meadow (but there was no rain; otherwise the ground would be problematic). The location is great, and we had a lovely evening with the food we ordered. Great stay—and yes, there is only one bathroom, but it is clean, including the toilet seat ;). We would gladly return.
Las Hamacas is a wonderful, high-energy place of peace. Two warm-hearted hosts, Lisa and Rutger. Camping among ancient olive trees, with a beautiful terrace and clean facilities. Fresh bread rolls are available in the morning on request. We were allowed to help with the olive harvest and then enjoy the fresh olive oil. Thank you for the wonderful days and the delicious meal we shared. We hope to see you again.
