This picnic spot is closed after a fire, and the trees are being removed. The area has been described as a quiet place to sleep, but it now resembles a heavily damaged, tree-clearing zone. The access road is very bumpy, and no fountain was found.

Closed in July 2026. Because of last year's fire, all the trees are now being removed. I did not see a water fountain.
This place was devastated by a fire and was used to pile up felled trees. It looks a bit like a war zone. Even so, it is extremely quiet for sleeping. It is sad to see everything so destroyed; I hope nature recovers.
Quiet and beautiful, but the road leading there is very bumpy.
Quiet area for eating or resting. Please do not leave rubbish!
Quiet pine forest; you can hear the road in the background, and there are picnic tables. However, there are many papers and a lot of rubbish on the ground. Perhaps that detracts from the charm of this little spot. For spending the night in this area, where there are not many alternatives, it is fine.
Nice place for a picnic and even for sleeping; I spent the night there and felt safe. The motorway is not too audible. The only problem is that this excellent area is still not maintained: the barbecue is dirty, and the picnic tables need cleaning before use. On the positive side, there is plenty of shade. The local municipality has left the place abandoned.
