Rødhus Klit Camping

The campsite is much larger than expected, but has many cozy and larger pitches, both sunny and shaded. Pure nature. A little short on sanitary facilities. At the back where we stayed, there was one shower and four toilets nearby. Wi-Fi is available only at certain pitches near reception.

Super lovely site. Large pitches surrounded by trees, so you are completely undisturbed. The toilet buildings are old, but functional and clean. Nice playground, tennis court, and dog forest. The beach is close. The hosts are very welcoming, helpful, and talkative. Highly recommended, and we will return.

A cozy little campsite with pitches separated by greenery. Perfect if you do not like camping close to others. The buildings are a little worn, but the new owners have started renovating. Very friendly owners. Highly recommended!

A very beautiful site with idyllic pitches. Quiet in the middle of nature, 700 meters from the beach. About 10–15 minutes by car to the car beach at Blokhus! Great and huge playground with a football field, swings, slide, and much more. We stayed here for two nights and could choose our own pitch. Perfect! We would gladly return!

Perfect spot near the dunes and endless white sands of beautiful Rødhus. Clean facilities, nice owners, great for dogs and weirdly quiet. We’ll be back! For the record this place isn’t free as stated, but worth every penny!

Beautiful site with helpful and friendly owners. Dune walks, peace and quiet, and lovely beach access 1 km away will delight any camper. Fantastic horse pasture is available for camping with horses. A cycling trip to Blokhus is highly recommended. Best recommendation!

Very nice campsite. The pitches are surrounded by trees and bushes, making them feel very private. The sanitary facilities are somewhat dated but clean and well maintained. Reception is open only limited hours, 8:00–11:00 and 15:00–17:00, as is the shop selling snacks and drinks. A pretty path leads to the beach, about 15 minutes away. Dogs allowed; the site is known for camping with horses. One night, van with electricity, two people: 330 DKK.

Wow, what a site! Operator very friendly, large pitches in the middle of a forest and the feeling of space. Facilities clean and adequate. We stayed at the end of May, so was very quiet. If you want to be in the middle of nature, this is the place. We stayed here in our 6m campervan with 2 dogs.

Beautiful natural campsite by the sea with sunny or shaded pitches. You are sheltered from the wind here. At this time of year we were almost alone on the large site. Sanitary facilities clean but dated. €35 for two people and one dog, without water or electricity. One free shower token per person was provided.

Great location and beautiful pitches. It's a big campsite but because of the way the campsite is layed out it feels small and natural. Half hour walk to the beach. Sanitary buildings are clean but are in need of a facelift. Especially the showers. A bit expensive but I believe there are no cheap campsites in Denmark. We paid 256 DK for a small campervan, 2 adults, a dog and 2 showercoins.

Absolute insider tip: Very spacious, well-maintained site with shaded and sunny pitches. Its pleasant natural design makes it feel like a manageable campsite, although it offers lots of space. The sanitary facilities are also modern and clean. The children entertained themselves wonderfully on the large playground.

Nice, but unfortunately twice as expensive as stated here in the app. We paid more than 300 Danish kroner for two adults and one child. The sanitary facilities are very, very dated and poorly maintained. The soap dispenser in the toilet is no longer refilled, and hot water is rationed. We had to leave the site by 11:00.
