A public mountain parking area near restaurants, guesthouses, two ponds and walking trails. It is a departure point for many excursions, so cars arrive early and the parking area becomes crowded during the day. Overnight stays are prohibited, and winter access can be difficult with snow.

Overnight stays prohibited, so we continued to the Heulantsch rest area. Slept well there.
Beautiful, quiet parking area with several restaurants and inns nearby. The signs prohibiting camping have been REMOVED. Wildly romantic moorland educational trail and circular walking route around the two ponds.
