Been here?
River-side picnic spot on the way up to San Bernardino, with parking for one camper near a small lake. A handy drinking-water tap is right after the bridge. Nature is pretty and restaurants are nearby, but expect some noise from the weir and, closer to town, church bells ringing into the night and from early morning. Free overnight stays seem tolerated without issue.

We stayed here to shelter from the wind before heading toward San Bernardino. Bucolic spot with a very convenient water point just after the bridge! One drawback: the noise from the spillway next to it and the church just above, which rings until midnight and from 6 a.m.! It was a short night!
Super beautiful place for a stopover—wonderful view.
Drinking water fountain on the east side of the bridge. The stream drowns out the road noise.
Beautiful spot surrounded by nature
