Camping Gouville Belle étoile - Manche

We stayed here with our campervan and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The pitches are spacious, well maintained and easy to access. We particularly liked the peaceful atmosphere, proximity to the beach and beautiful walking trails. The staff were friendly and helpful. A great place for a relaxing holiday; we would gladly return.

Well located, with old but functional facilities. Welcoming staff. The children's park is very, very good.

It is difficult to find a natural place to stop in this area. The neighbors keep watch and the gendarmerie patrols. So we ended up at Belle-Étoile campsite, and honestly, we were not disappointed at all! Quiet, very well maintained, fresh bread in the morning and coffee facing the sea—perfect. The prices are a little high, but it is worth it. We felt good there, slept well and highly recommend it!

€40 for nothing. Of course you also have to pay extra for showers, even though the showers and toilets were neither clean nor modern. The only good thing is the nearby beach. We would not come back. You can also hear a mole repellent device at the pitches all evening, which is very annoying.

Spent one night in a minivan, €37 for the night with water and electricity, although we did not use them, so it feels a little expensive. We paid for the four-star rating, which I do not think it deserves. The sanitary facilities are clean, but the showers require tokens, are narrow, have no soap dish, and the walls are only 1.8–2 metres high at most, so there is little privacy. Pleasant staff and beach access opposite the campsite.

€24.50 for two people with a dog. The site and sanitary facilities are clean. The pool is large enough to swim a few lengths. Very friendly staff. Unfortunately, the gardener woke us in the morning with an edging trimmer. The beach was deserted. The restaurant directly on the beach is recommended—delicious burgers!
