A free, legal gravel parking area with designated motorhome spaces below Ochsenhausen Monastery. It is level, spacious and generally quiet, with excellent monastery views and good walking routes for dogs. The town centre and restaurants are reachable on foot, including an Italian restaurant about 5 minutes away. Trucks and delivery vehicles may also use the large car park, with more traffic from about 7.30.

Gravel parking area where motorhomes are permitted, as indicated by the sign at the back right of the parking area.
I use this parking area when visiting my hometown. Ideal place to stay near the center. Safe, quiet and level. The best Italian restaurant in Ochsenhausen is a 5-minute walk away, LoStudente! Highly recommended!

Superb place to stay with a great view of the monastery. A pleasant footpath below leads into town if you want to eat or browse the shops.
Level, free space below the monastery. The wind whistled across the open area tonight; otherwise, we had a very quiet night. The monastery clock chimes very softly. Thank you for this place with its great view of the monastery!
Always happy to return. Simple, legal place. Good with a dog. I once again stayed quietly and safely. Trucks and delivery vehicles also park here, but the space is large enough. Many thanks to the municipality.
Nice place to stay; very quiet in the evening and at night. From 7:30 a.m. there is probably as much traffic as on a motorway, at least on school days, due to parents' taxis. But there is something to watch.
Had a very quiet night. Many cars come here to park in the morning. Be sure to visit the beautiful church.
We spent a very quiet night below the monastery in the rear part of the parking area.
Nice place. I initially intended to stay overnight, but too many suspicious cars were circling the parking area several times in the evening. I did not feel safe and left fairly quickly. Farther on, I found another parking area near a lake with other motorhomes.
Very beautiful and quiet place to stay, with a view of a lovely monastery. Perfect for walking or walking the dogs, and a very nice café is also nearby. The road is barely audible. It is a gravel track with hardly any slope. We had a quiet night! :) But it can accommodate significantly more than just 4 motorhomes.
We stayed here for two very quiet nights with plenty of space around us. The parking area is idyllically located below Ochsenhausen Monastery, with many beautiful opportunities for walks. Many thanks to the town of Ochsenhausen for this lovely free parking area.
It is great that you are allowed to park here during the day. Trucks also arrive and leave at night. On weekday mornings, from 7 a.m., the school makes it really busy.
