This is a slightly sloping ski parking area suitable for a quiet one-night stop, with wide views and good walking opportunities. Park on the lower parking area, as pigeon releases take place nearby, especially on Saturdays. Authorities have previously warned that overnight stays may be treated as camping and fined. The nearby Panoramahütte offers meals and breakfast by reservation.

A beautiful place without the authorities bothering you :)... Please park in the lower parking lot, because almost daily pigeons are released here from several trucks; according to the pigeon handlers, even more on Saturdays. A beautiful, quiet area for hiking.
Actually very nicely located for parking, if it were not for the violation notice from the Gummersbach regulatory authority, which considers staying here to be camping. They threatened a fine. The only option is to leave and take your own rubbish with you; otherwise that is also an offense. Overnight stays are not allowed!! Motorhomes are only allowed at the site in Eckenhagen.
Quiet place, with almost no traffic after sunset. The surroundings invite you to go hiking, and the view in the morning is great.
Everything great?? Network, nighttime quiet, view.
