9 Ebentalstraße, 46459, Rees
Been here?
This motorhome area is about 500m from the centre and 800m from the Rhine, with supermarkets, restaurants and the riverside promenade nearby. The price is 15€ including electricity, water and waste disposal, and a cassette-cleaning machine costs 3€. The area is generally clean, quiet and mostly level, although it is surrounded by housing, a football field and local dog walkers. Some pitches are affected by nearby road noise.

Clean, well maintained and quiet; most pitches are level. Electricity and water are included in the price. About 10–15 minutes' walk to the town with shops and restaurants and to the Rhine promenade. We did not use the disposal facilities.Translating
Fine for one night with electricity. A super-modern cleaner for your toilet cassette: it costs €3, but you get what you pay for. You can walk to the Rhine through a beautiful little park with a Jewish cemetery dating from 1800.Translating
Absolutely fine for the price! However, you are somewhat in the middle of everything here. It is surrounded by a residential area and a football pitch, and there are many dog walkers. We stayed one night, which was fine. The machine for black-water disposal is broken, and some campers simply emptied their toilets into the grey-water drain. We had breakfast right next to it. Disgusting!Translating
Motorhome parking with facilities. Four rows of campers on grass pavers; the spaces are long and just wide enough to leave some room between the campers. Not very atmospheric for us. It is a shame there is no longer an option without electricity if you are self-sufficient. The grey-water drain is awkward, and we could not find a black-water drain. There is a machine for €3.Translating
New service facilities. Nice location.Translating
Update: water, electricity and grey-water disposal are included in the €15 and work after the renovation. There is also a cassette-cleaning machine. Very clean. Everything we needed is nearby. We do not need sanitary facilities. We will remember this place!Translating
‼️ Currently—as of 6 March 2026—there are no service facilities ‼️. A very nice site with short distances to the Rhine and to Aldi, Lidl, etc. However, local dog owners use the site as a dog toilet because there are currently few motorhomes here, without cleaning up after their dogs, even though a bag dispenser is right in front.Translating
The motorhome site does not immediately invite you to stay, since it is little more than a place with electricity and is still busy outside the season. But there is a water tap, a parking machine (€15 all-in), and even a service hut with information about Rees. Quite a nice place on the Rhine. It is an 800-metre walk to the promenade. On the way, next to the cemetery, there is an excellent paid toilet block that also accepts cards.Translating
Large motorhome site close to the city. €15 all-inclusive, free water. Nearby are Aldi Süd, Netto, Rewe, Lidl, the Rhine promenade and restaurants. You should look for a spot away from the noisy road. Disposal of chemical toilets is not ideal, as you have to hit the small drain used for grey water. I stayed here almost a whole week and left only because of the weather.Translating
As repeat visitors, we are glad everything has remained as it was last time; only the price has increased. A shame. But everything is getting more expensive—except the free beer.Translating
The site is good, the site manager is friendly, and the price is reasonable. You can walk into the town centre. Unfortunately, there were not many dining options left.Translating
Ebentalstraße in Rees: Very nice and quiet motorhome site in Rees! The location is ideal—you can easily reach the town centre and the Rhine on foot or by bicycle. The site is spacious, easy to access and well maintained. The peaceful surroundings are especially pleasant, making it a wonderful place to relax. The service facilities are also practical and easy to access.Translating
The site is as described. Hedges trimmed and grass mown. Everything clean and orderly. The Rhine is not far away, and you can do excellent ship spotting. We spent a peaceful night and slept well.Translating
Everything available in a clean and quiet environment.Translating
Well maintained, quiet and centrally located. Shopping facilities just around the corner. Highly recommended as a base for a lovely weekend. Many different cycling routes start directly here. Excellent value for money.Translating
Great site—everything included and extremely quiet. €15 is completely reasonable. We will gladly return.Translating
Actually, Bernd, €15 is absolutely reasonable for a well-maintained site with everything needed for supply and disposal; even electricity is included. Good starting point for cycling tours, and it was very quiet at night. We would return here anytime.Translating
The site manager warmly welcomed us and offered to help us check in at the machine. He gave us excellent information material that was very useful on our bike tour. A pitch for €15 including electricity and water is not too expensive. Rees and the surrounding area are wonderful, and we will return!Translating
From €10 to €15—places like this should all be avoided by us. At the end of the year, there should be less money in the till than before the increase.Translating
Good value for money €15 for 24hours with all services included and very good WiFi. Pleasant site, pitches not huge but adequate with some shade in places. Very quiet peaceful night. Plenty of bins. Payment simple at machine.Black and grey waste is together. Lidl very close. We stayed one night on our way to Rotterdam Ferry. Would return. Translating
Not at this price—from €10 to €15. One fewer place in my plans.Translating
Simple large motorhome site, partly on grass and partly on paving. On the edge of town and beside a main road. €15 per night including electricity, use of the service area and Wi-Fi. Black water goes into the grey-water drain; toilet is difficult to rinse. The awning can just be extended. Separate waste collection. Payment at the machine, self-explanatory. Traffic noise from the road, especially buses.Translating
Quiet place, close to the centre and the Rhine, €15 including water and electricity. You can have a really pleasant stay here.Translating
Good pitches, everything available, electricity works well and excellent Wi-Fi!Translating
Quite expensive without a toilet or shower! However, it is good that electricity was included in the price. Cosy place.Translating
The site is quite good, but the price increase from €10 to €15 is not. Many people do not need electricity, since most are equipped with solar panels. Nevertheless, you pay €15, which is a rip-off. A shame for the site.Translating
Nice campsite on the edge of the village, with a walking route along the Rhine. No sanitary facilities, but black- and grey-water disposal. Supermarket a 10-minute walk away. Five stars because this is a good, tidy site for €15 with electricity.Translating
Can't complain: you get a beautiful, spacious pitch for your money. €15 including electricity and water, with all facilities available. A great stopover for us on the way to Portugal.Translating
Cute little village on the Rhine, good value for money including electricity and disposal facilities.Translating
One star deducted because it gets too muddy in the rain; otherwise, you cannot expect more for €10 nowadays. Thanks to the municipality.Translating
Practical but not beautiful.Translating
Basically a nice site. Two rows on uneven grass with a distant old electricity post and not enough connections. A 25-metre cable is not enough. Permanent-resident retirees have occupied the other four rows with grass pavers, lighting and more electricity posts, so occasional visitors hardly have a chance. Nevertheless, recommended for one or two nights to visit the lovely town of Rees.Translating
