This is a free daytime parking area where the Göta Canal joins the lake, close to Karlsborg’s attractions and a snack bar. It is crowded during summer and very close to the main road. Free drinking water has been reported, but camping is prohibited, so it is only for daytime use.

Parking that seems perfect during the day. There is a snack bar in the parking area, very close to the main road.

The parking area now has a camping ban, so it can only be used during the day. When we drove past, it seemed that the special-needs school was having a gathering. Twenty modified chaser cars with A-tractor registration had occupied the place.
Refilling water — great.
