This is a peaceful spot directly beside a lake, with views of Château Gaillard. The access road has many large holes and curves, and careful manoeuvring is needed; vehicles should be no longer than 6m. Fishermen may arrive early in the morning, but the surroundings are otherwise very calm and clean.

Incredible spot with a little Canadian feel. Our motorhome is 6 meters long; it should not be any longer to turn around, and you need to know how to maneuver.
We parked a little farther away so as not to disturb the fishermen who arrive early in the morning. Very quiet and clean, with a view of Château Gaillard. A truly perfect night.
We did not dare venture there with our 7.4-meter vehicle. There are many potholes in the road and access is difficult. Too bad—it looked calm and nice for children. We went farther on.
Arrived around 19:15, beautiful spot right by the lake. Nice place to wake up with a view of the lake. Around 07:00 few cars passed by (fishers), no bother. Highly recommended (for 4x4) ✨
Superb!!! Directly at the lake, peaceful, only a few other local visitors and a police visit at midnight to check if we were fishing (we don't), everything easy. Wake up with a view of the lake 5m away from you. The only problem is the way down there. Sooo many BIG holes and curves. We had to build ramps from wood and stones to get back up again. Once you've parked, however, it's all perfect!
