Strada Provinciale 24 del Passo Valparola, 32043, Cortina d'Ampezzo
Been here?
This is an undeveloped roadside parking spot with extraordinary mountain views and no services. It is suitable for an overnight stop, with a museum and hiking routes nearby. The surface is slightly uneven, traffic can be noticeable, and places may fill quickly. At about 2100m, nights can be cold.

Amazing place with great views and an amazing sunset spot. Nice sleep with only a few cars from 8 p.m. to 7 a.m.Translating
Such a beautiful spot! Very calm. You can also visit museum or go for a hike
Right next to the road. Quiet and with stunning views. There is a First World War museum nearby. No internet connection. Some slope, but very slight.Translating
Absolutely beautiful place. I am very grateful that the authorities tolerate the use of such a location; please let us keep it that way :-)Translating
Nice spot for the night. Incredible view. It gets rather cold because of the altitude, though.Translating
One of my favourite spots I've ever stayed at. Be warned - it gets cold! 2100m up or so.
An incredible view, somewhat sloping and with occasionally loud traffic. No prohibition sign.Translating
Very beautiful spot.
Incredible view! Please keep the place clean!Translating
We stayed here for 2 nights and it is the most beautiful parking in this area. Also perfect to start a hike directly from the parking lot.
An extraordinary view! Alone here in the low season and fairly flat. You cannot go farther than the restaurant at the end because the road is temporarily blocked. Not much internet.Translating
A magnificent view! It was the perfect place. Do not arrive too late because the spaces fill up quickly. Right next to the road, so traffic starts quite early the following morning.Translating
Good spot for campers and buses. Beautiful views. For free.
Fantastic view, close to a nice museum about World War I.Translating
Great place to spend the night; the museum within walking distance is also interesting. But people, get a grip: dumping gray water onto the gravel parking area or washing dishes with the drain valve open really is not acceptable—then we wonder why fewer and fewer places tolerate us.Translating
One of the most beautiful places in the surrounding area. Magnificent high-altitude location. A great place to stop with company, especially during high season. The road to get there is quite steep, so be careful if you have an older camper or van.Translating
The parking area is somewhat uneven and currently very crowded. We managed to get the last space. A beautiful sunrise, but an even more beautiful sunset and the most beautiful starry sky. Unfortunately, there was a smell of urine and paper towels along the edges of the grass. Overall, we spent a pleasant night there.Translating
Excellent place for day and night parking, great start for hiking trails, via ferrata or climbing. We stayed here 2 nights and really enjoyed it.
Excellent place. The road is quiet at night. Quite a large area. It is possible that many cars will be sleeping there. If you do not find a space, you can go farther because there are many other places.Translating
Dream spot; quiet at night, although cars pass from 6 a.m. But with this view, it is no problem. Perfect especially for sunrises and sunsets.Translating
Good spot just after the pass. We spent an excellent night there with a breathtaking view. We stopped just before the fort. Nice hike below with old houses and trenches from the 1914–1918 war. As a bonus, we enjoyed a wonderful marmot show with them just 3 meters away. Lots of traffic on the road during the day, but quiet at night.Translating
There really is no signal, but the view makes up for it :) Unfortunately, there are no toilets, so you have to go somewhere in nature. There were quite a lot of campers, so you feel very safe there. It was also very quiet at night :)Translating
