It looked like a beautiful, quiet place, and because of the reviews I drove there. But once there, the spot was almost full of cars and people playing loud music, with suspicious bags on the ground beside a car. I drove on.
We stayed here for a whisky tasting at Kyrburg. The tasting is absolutely recommended. The pitches are slightly sloped, but manageable. The night was quiet and we felt safe. The Kyrburg restaurant is also recommended, although it is rather expensive.
Beautifully located spot with a view of Kirn. Until 10 p.m., a few teenagers were there with their cars; the music was not too loud. We got fresh water from the cemetery.
Beautiful car park with a lovely view and ideal for visiting Kyrburg. We could not find any signs prohibiting overnight stays. The restaurant was closed, but it seems to have a beautiful terrace in summer. We will definitely return in warmer weather.
