The first review and the first photo at a place earn ×2. Check-in extras add a little more: +2 for how busy it was, +3 for a note.

Forgotten places pay more

Check-ins, reviews and photos are multiplied by how long the spot has gone without news from travelers:

News within the last 7 days×0.5
7–30 days without news×1
30–180 days without news×2
Over 180 days without news, or none ever×3

On-site counts double. A check-in made on-site — your device within 2 km of the spot — earns ×2. Being there is the best proof a traveler can give.

A calm pace

Points reward good days on the road, not marathons: Up to 250 points a day. Hearts pay on the first 20 per contribution. Contributions are accepted a few at a time — about 10 per 15 minutes.
